Peace and Politeness, two big words which are missing in today’s urban life. In Delhi-NCR, everybody is running in the mad rat race from home to office and office to home. Load of work pressure, huge rent, never ending EMIs, inflation and high expectations has left no joy in life.
To take a break from this hustle-bustle, I went to Iskcon Noida with my family last weekend.
The temple is clearly visible from the Noida Bypass Flyover and located, opposite to the NTPC Office building, in Maharaja Agrasen Marg Noida Sector 33. I went at around 8:30 pm, the Sayana Aarti was going on. Prasadam and Phool were being distributed by pujari. A group of bhakts with some musical instruments were singing the Bhajan.
People were immersed in the devotion of Radhe-Krishna. Some devotees were even dancing, without bothering about their materialistic desire and burdens. The aroma of spirituality could easily be inhaled in the atmosphere of devotion. Finally, after the aarti, the door of main idols section (comprising of Radha–Govinda, Jagannatha, Baladeva, Subhadra, Gaura-Nitai ‘Caitanya and Nityananda’) were closed and everybody greeted the almighty before Antim Darshan for the day. Then the charnamrit was distributed to everybody turn by turn in a queue.
