Delhi Topper Shivika Dudani has got 498 marks out of 500 marks in CBSE Class 10 Result. This year students from every corner of India has secured excellent marks in 2019 result. Total 13 students have got 499 marks in Class 10 and became the shining stars of the country. While 25 students including Shivika have secured 2nd position with 498 marks. The parents of these studious children are delighted with their ward’s scores in the examination.

Shivika is the student of Amity International School, Pushp Vihar and a resident of Lajpat Nagar in South Delhi. Her mother Sharmila Dudani is a pathologist by profession and father works as an Engineer. Ms Dudani has got perfect 100 marks in Science, English, Social Science and 99 marks in Maths, Hindi. She claims that her one marks in each subject deducted just because of her silly mistakes. She agrees that she was sure about her excellent marks but unaware of the fact that she will be the Delhi Topper.

“It is not about the number of hours one sits to study but the quality and focus one devotes to it.”

Shivika is the first ever topper from her school. She fairly praises her teachers for being supportive during her academic journey. Ms Dudani wants to stay in the same school for studying Class XI and XII with Biology as the main subject.

Her Ambition in Life

Shivika wants to see herself as a Doctor in future. Her dream colleges are All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) and Maulana Azad Medical College. Both of these are the top medical colleges of India. Shivika loves to explore more about the human body and this topic draws her attention towards Biology. She quoted service to mankind as her primary goal in life and also motivated towards researching and learning human diseases and conditions in depth.

Success Tips by Shivika

The Delhi Topper shared some useful tips for the next batch students:

  • Stick with an everyday routine and study at least 10 – 12 hours regularly. During exam time, increase your study hours to 12 – 14 daily.
  • Take small breaks between your study session, to increase your focus and stay calm.  
  • Wake up early in the morning and study before leaving for the school.
  • Your study sessions should be qualitative not only quantitative.
  • Stay away from Social Media during Exams.
  • Make Self-Study your key to success.
